Summary: This study determined the adaptability and academic performance of level IV student nurses of University of Cebu- Banilad. Specifically, this study determined the profile of the respondents in terms of age, gender, civil status. The level of adaptability in relation to academic performance was identified. This study utilized a descriptive- correlational research design. There were 279 respondents who were regular students and enrolled in the University of Cebu- Banilad Campus. Convenient random sampling was utilized. A researcher -made questionnaire was utilized using simple percentage, weighted mean, chi- square and person product- common correlation. The findings revealed majority of the respondents belonged to the ages 18-20 years old, females and singles. In general, majority of the level IV student nurses were moderately adapted and have agood academic performance. There is no significant relationship of the profile in terms with the age, gender, and civil status to their level of adaptability and academic performance. Furthermore, the level of adaptability has no significant relationship to their academic performance. The action plan would provide support in the attainment of the respondents' basic needs, especially in improving their academic performance.
