Summary: The hotel industry should be able to improve their safety and security practices to ensure the safety of the guest, and to meet the need of the guest, and attract many guests. This study aimed to deliberate the safety and security practices of different hotels in Cebu regarding guest security, area security, security risk, age, gender, civil status and religion. This study utilized a descriptive research method using a researcher made questionnaire to gather data from the forty (40) randomle selected respondents in Bai Hotel & Dohera Hotel. Simple percentage, weighted mean and ANOVA were used to analyze the data. Based on the result majority of the respondents in the chosen hotel were male, married, Catholic and in the age of 25-29 years old. The researchers also found out that these hotels practice their standard operating procedures when it comes to safety & security of the hotel and its guest. The result of this study displayed that there is a significant relationship between the respondent's profile and the safety & security practices of different hotels in Cebu. Therefore the most influencing safety and security practices of different hotels in Cebu is guest security.
