Summary:The point of each College of Nursing is to deliver equipped medical attendants who can answer the social insurance requests in the both neighborhood and even worldwide. Schools of nursing fill in as preparing grounds to birth assistant expert medical attendants who will prevail in whichever field of specialization they will pick. Passing the Nurse Licensure Examination (NLE) is the initial step of each trying medical attendant to kick off their vocation, and quality training is fundamental to deliver an incredible number of enlisted medical attendants. This study identified predictors of the Nurse Licensure Examination performance of the graduates in a University. The findings of which served as a basis for a proposed program level intervention scheme to improve the quality of instruction given to nursing students. Specifically, this study seeks to reveal the diagnostic test, achievement test, academic performance, and Nurse Licensure Examination (NLE) performance of the subjects and the significant relationship between and among these variables. Diagnostic test conducted upon entrance to the College of Nursing is not a predictor of the performance of the graduates in achievements tests taken for professional courses and the NLE. There is an inference in this investigation that cognitive abilities measured by the diagnostic tool utilized were improved as the subjects to the study moved to a higher level in nursing school. The diagnostic test result did not influence the Grade Point Average (GPA), which gives an overview of the academic performance of the graduates. This result indicates that the graduates have acquired knowledge of the studied subject matter in the classroom. Achievement tests which contribute to the overall GPA of the graduates measured this knowledge. In contrary, GPA is a strong predictor of the graduate's performance in the NLE since professional courses taken are part of the coverage of the NLE.
