Summary: This study aimed to determine the staff nurses perception on the student nurses presence and services rendered in the Medical-Surgical areas of X and Y Hospitals.
Specifically, it sought to answer the following questions: 1. What is the profile of the student nurses in terms of year level and academic achievements? 2. What is the profile of the respondents in terms of employment status and area of assignment? 3. What is the perception of the staff nurses on the student nurses in terms of students presence and services rendered? 4. Is there a significance relationship between the staff nurses' perception on the student nurses presence and services rendered when classified according to employment status and area of assignment? 5. Based on the findings of the study what action plan can be proposed?
