Summary: This study was conducted in pursuit of explaining the unknown and analyzing the occurrences of a certain phenomenon.
The purpose of this study was to find out what motivates Cebuano Sorcerers to practice sorcery.
Specifically, this study seeks answers to the following questions:
1. What kind of lives and social status do the selected sorcerers have?
2. What motivated the respondents to become sorcerers?
3. How do the selected sorcerers acquire the knowledge and skills that made them what they are?
4. In the practice of their craft is the quest for justice and display of power a greater motive than the payment received by the selected sorcerers?
