Among the four language skills, reading is possibly the most extensively and intensively studied skill experts in the field of language teaching. For many years, reading instruction was based on the concept of reading as the applicants of a set of isolated skills such as identifying words, finding main ideas, identifying cause and effect relationships, comparing and contrasting, and sequencing (Perfetti & Stafura, 2014). The study was conducted to determine the efficacy of online learning tot he second year BSEd - English students of the University of Cebu - Banilad Campus in relation to the enhancement of their reading comprehension ability. The results of this study will be the bases for the webinar workshop: How to Deal and Cope up with the Demands of Online Learning in Relation Comprehension Ability.
