Community-based tourism is an approach that enables local communities to manage and benefit from tourism in ways that support environmental conservation, cultural preservation, and sustainable livelihoods. Sustainable tourism complements this by ensuring that tourism activities are economically viable while promoting social responsibility and environmental care. In Bojo River, Aloguinsa, Cebu, the Bojo Aloguinsan Ecotourism Association exemplifies these principles by fostering community engagement and conversation efforts through tourism. This study explored the lived experiences of the BAETAS members; the contributors to the conservation, cohesion, and economic opportunities roles of its members.
