Microfinance institutions (MFIs) are specialized financial entities that provide financial services to individuals and small businesses, particularly those in undeserved or economically disadvantaged communities. As a provider of credit, the need for implementing effective credit management practices is crucial to meet its social and economic objectives as well as achieve sustainability and profitability. this study assessed the credit management practices of microfinance institutions in Mandaue City. The proposed credit management framework will aid the management of microfinance institutions in improving the cash flow and lowering bad debt payments.
