Air conditioners are temperature-regulating equipment used to modify the air temperature of classrooms, homes, and offices, which is favorable for the growth of microorganisms, especially fungal contaminants, which may pose health risks to individuals. This study aims to isolate fungal pollutants caused by fungal contamination in air conditioning systems in the lecture rooms on the 4th floor, microbiology and molecular biology laboratories, conference rooms, and AVR 1 on the 8th floor of the University of Cebu-Banilad.
