Nurses' work satisfaction is crucial for their well-being and patient care effectiveness. Despite their vital role, they face challenges, like shortages of trained personnel, excessive workload, and poor work conditions, affecting their overall job satisfaction (Lu et al. 2019). This study aimed to determine the level of work satisfaction among nurses in private secondary maternity hospitals in Cebu City. It also examined the correlation between the nurses' demographic profile and their level of work satisfaction to develop an action plan addressing workplace challenges and existing dissatisfaction.
