Retirement is a big life adjustment that presents both opportunities and challenges among the elderly. The purpose of this study was to determine the retirement prospects, difficulties, degree of contentment of the senior citizens living in Barangay Hippodromo. This study concentrated on a number of factors that affect seniors' quality of life, such as psychological and physical health, social interaction, and financial security. This study determined the retirement opportunities and challenges and level of satisfaction of retired elderly in the finding served as a basis for a proposed action plan.
