Summary:The researchers were interested in choosing this topic because never before we had much information about the effects of our personal behavior patterns and the food we choose in our levels health. The researchers were also curious and inquisitive to know on the appropriateness of the food choices among level 4 student nurses knowing that they have passed their nutrition subjects during their level 2 and how their eating habits affected their daily performance considering their lifestyle which indeed are stressful, busy and have hectic schedules. As cited by Rofles (2002), there are ten factors that influence ones food choices. These include personal preferences, habit, ethnic heritage or tradition, social interaction, availability, convenience and economy, positive and negative associations, emotional comfort, values and body weight and image.
