"The role of public fruit vendors has undergone a significant transformation over the past few decades. They have had to adapt to changing customer needs and shifting market trends. While this brings new opportunities, it also involves dealing with rising costs and increased competition. Despite these challenges, public fruit vendors continue to play a vital role in providing fresh, healthy produce. With continued adaptation, they can thrive in an increasingly complex and competitive landscape. The study evaluates the pricing management practices employed by fruit vendors. These vendors face various challenges in setting their prices in the public market. The study aims to explore their experiences in pricing fresh farm-sourced fruits, fresh supplier-sourced fruits, and overripe or spoiled fruits. It also examines the pricing strategies used by fruit vendors in response to stiff competition, supply volatility, and seasonal changes.
