Summary: The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between the usage of cellular phone to the academic performance of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy students in the University of Cebu- Banilad first semester 2005-2006. Specifically, this study will lead to the answers of the following questions: 1. Profile of respondents in terms of: 1.1 ownership of cellular phones 1.2 Features of cellular phones 1.3 frequency of usage of cellular phones 1.4 purpose of usage of cellular phones 1.5 academic performance 2. Is there a significant relationship between the usage of cellular phones and the respondents' academic performance? 3. Based on the findings of the study, what recommendations may be proposed?
