Summary: The purpose of this study was to ascertain the relationship between the motivating factors and job satisfaction levels of hospital nurses and nurse educators in selected hospitals and Colleges of Nursing in Cebu City. Based on the findings of the study, an action plan was proposed. Specifically, the study sought to answer the following questions: 1. What is the profile of the hospital nurses and nurse educators under study? 2. What are the factors that motivate the hospital nurses and nurse educators? 3. What is the job satisfaction level of the hospital nurses and nurse educators? 4. Are there significant differences in the: 4.1 perceptions of the hospital nurses and nurse educators on each motivating factors? 4.2 job satisfaction level of the hospital nurses and nurse educators? 5. Is there a significant correlation between each of the motivating factors and job satisfaction level of the hospital nurses and nurse educators? 6. Based on the findings of the study, what action plan be proposed?
