Summary : Transportation is an essential part of the tourism industry, providing connections from the place of origin to the destination where a particular tourist attraction is located. Cebu City is among many places in the Philippines that offers destinations for both local and foreign tourists. This study was undertaken by the researches to determine the impact of the lack of available transportation to tourists in Taoist Temple located in Beverly Hills Subdivision, Cebu City. This study utilized the descriptive-correlation research design with the use of a research-made questionnaire as the primary tool for gathering data. Statistical treatments used for data analysis were simple percentage, weighted mean and Chi-Square Test of Independence.

The findings revealed that the majority of the respondents were between 24-31 years old, male, single and Filipino. The lack of transportation going to Taoist Temple have caused delay in travel time, difficulty in accessing the place and comprised safety to tourists visiting the site. There was a significant relationship between the age, gender and nationality of the respondents and their perceptions on the lack of available transportation to tourists in Taoist Temple. However, there was no significant relationship between the civil status of the respondents and their perception.

The impact of the lack of transportation has affected the travel of the tourists to Taoist Temple. Hence, providing a motorcycle terminal with the collaboration of the Local Tourism Department, Lahug Motors Association and Beverly Hills Association, will increase the number of tourists visiting the place.
