Summary : This study is to develop a network-based power outlet system. The idea was to make human's life easier by having a total control over the state of the device the is plugged in the SuperOutlet. The SuperOutlet consist of a hardware and an android application, the android application acts as the remote for the hardware while the hardware is the one controlling the state of the sockets. Configuring the microcomputer was quite complex, and integrating all the modules which can sometimes mess-up are great. After completing the first step which is to configure the microcomputer, the researchers the proceeded into creating a server that acts as the storage for the user's data. After creating the host server the researchers tested the connection between the server and the microcomputer by sending and retrieving data. Then the researchers started on making their assigned modules. The researchers then integrated all the modules of the SuperOutlet. After integrating all the modules of the superOutlet, it can already use all its functions like changing the state of the sockets, set timer for every socket, checks the amount of electricity of the appliances that are are plugged in it, rename the label of the socket and outlet, detects if the outlet overloads or carrier more than it can handle, manual overdrive over the state of the socket and the first time configuration of the users login and registration. The SuperOutlet also has two options for the user, whether to connect online using the user's account or to connect locally by being in the range of the SuperOutlet. With the use of the SuperOutlet, many companies can save electricity and doubles their profit. SuperOutlet can also help avoid short circuits and sudden electricity malfunctions which can cause fires and can help monitor and secure electricity consumption in household.
