Summary: Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) successful planning system began to deviate from the traditional planning practice and adapt the trend which focused on assessment. There is already a shift from institutional strategic planning to institutional leadership. This investigation evaluates the training needs of the faculty of the College of Business and Accountancy to be able to craft with an extensive and comprehensive faculty development plan. Using purposive sampling method, there were thirty-five (35) faculty members who respondents profile, simple percentage was applied; weighted mean was used to analyze the on the training needs of the faculty member. The results revealed that most of the faculty members were ranked as Junior instructor B;Aged between 30-41 years old; Females; married; and had finished masteral degree. Further, the respondents moderately need training on both professional and interpersonal aspects. So the Human Resource Department should conduct training that will supplement the gap between the present competency of the reaching asset and the requirement in outcomes based teaching approach.
