Summary: Technology has made a huge effect on peoples' lives. This outcome has affected every part of the society; it also had a result on the current student population.This study determined the utilization of the internet as learning approach among nursing students of the University. Specially, this study determined the profile of the respondents regarding their age, gender and civil status. There were 100 respondents using random sampling technique. A researcher - made questionnaire was utilized with the use of simple percentage, weighted mean, and Chi-square Test of Independence.

The results of the study revealed that majority of the respondents were between 18-19 years old, females and were mostly second year. The finding showed that there is a significant relationship between the profile of the respondents and the extent utilization of internet. This study utilized a descriptive - correlational research design to determined the internet utilization: 21st century approach to learning among the nursing students among Level 1,2,3, and 4 nursing students in University of Cebu-Banilad. Researchers recommended that an action plan when emphasizes the full availability of internet throughout the school campus should be implemented. The predominant learners nowadays browsing the Internet to widen one learning is the new approach to learning. Online learning is one of the styles in the education categories all over the world. with modern and improved technologies, this mode of learning made easy. The attachment or addiction of the 21st century learners to the internet relates to the theory of Mayer that people learn more deeply from words and pictures from words alone.
