Summary: This study determined the influence of the motivational factors among student nurses. Specifically, this study determined the profile of the students in terms of age, gender, and year level, the influence of motivational factors among them. The findings of which were the bases for the formulation of the proposed action plan. This study utilized a descriptive- correlational research design. There were 302 respondents. A researcher-made questionnaire was utilized and data were analyzed using simple percentage, weighted mean, and chi-square research questionnaire. Cronbach's alpha result was 0.95.
Findings showed that student nurses motivation is highly influenced by affiliation factors such as gaining respect from others, being accepted, and being loved by family and friends. On the other hand student nurses motivation is moderately influenced by power factors such as controlling others, commanding attention, and striving for superiority. There was no significant relationship between the respondents profile and the influence of motivational factors among them. Based on the findings of the study, it has been concluded that motivational factors highly influenced student nurses.
