Summary: Caring for the dying and the bereaved is one of the caregiver's most complex and challenging responsibilities, bringing into play all the skills needed for holistic physiologic and psychosocial care. To be effective, caregivers must come to grips with their own attitudes towards loss, death and dying because these attitudes will directly affect their ability to provide care. The researchers wanted to know how each caregiver perceives these issues during their exposures to the field how they cope up and their learnings as they deal with these clients. The study utilized a qualitative and thematic method.. The researchers have come up to six identified common themes based on the data collected during the interview. Then six themes are closeness, attachment, emotional connection between the caregiver and the client, sadness, patience and understanding. Based on the findings of the study, the researchers have concluded that the passing of patient can impact our personal lives as a caregiver or nurse and infuence the care we provide to our clients for our entire career. Based on the conclusion of the study in their future inquiry, the informants to enhance their coping abilities and use their learnings, the institution involved to use this study as their reference.
