Summary: Pronunciation is one of the most problematic issues in learning English among koreans. Thus, this research focused on the difficulty in the production of the English consonant sounds of the korean students of Sung Kyun Kwan International Education Corporation (SKK). The purpose of the study is to propose a speech enhancement activity that would refine their pronunciation difficulties. This study utilized the descriptive-correlation survey method. The data collected through oral production test participated by 25 respondents. This study primarily focused on the English consonant sounds, subdivided into three positions: initial, medial and final. Each position comprises of 2 words that have a total of 120 words. The result based on the number of incidents correctly and incorrectly pronounced consonant sounds. The data used descriptive statistics for presentation and analysis such as frequency and percentage, for the profile of the respondents, and Ch-square for the relationship between the profile of the respondents and the pronunciation difficulties in English consonants of the Korean ESL students. The findings revealed that majority of the respondents were 14-19 ages and most of them were males and have stayed in the Philippines for less than 2-4 months. The individual English consonant sounds were found problematic among korean students, whenever the sounds occurred at the beginning, middle and end of the words the students had difficulties in pronouncing them and they substituted them with other likely sounds.
