Thesis (Master of Arts in Education - English Language and Literature Teaching) -- University of Cebu- Banilad, 2016.

This chapter presents the summary of findings, the conclusions, and the recommendations which are extended to further recommendations for future research. The following are the findings of this literary research: Ovidiu Bocsa's poem "Grass of Hope" manifests the postmodern characteristics of irony, pastiche, and intertextuality; effectuates in the reader the reality of human being's life; and defies the poetic conventions of a meter. Based on the findings and conclusion, the following recommendations are hereby offered to the literature teachers to perceive new concepts with regard to the postmodernism and its deep understanding in the field of literature. They would further enhance the teaching - learning process of literature to the students and may attempt to study further postmodernism; to the literature major students to see the significance of looking into different perspectives of different literary genres. This will allow them to discover beyond the written text and emphasized meaning of specific literary work especially the postmodern literature; and to the future postmodern poets/writers whose aim is to create literary peace dealing on postmodernism. This will help them further understand the postmodern ways of writing and come up with their own piece. The following research topics are hereby recommended for future researchers to undertake: Dark Reflections: Fantasy and Duality in the Work of David Lynch; Visual Activism and the Twenty-First Century Prosthetic Limb; Deciphering the Real through Artifice: A Study of the Gaze in Victorian Art; Mourning Gendered Discipline: Virginia Woolf and the Modern Elegy; and Limitations and Longing: Sacrifice in Global Anglophone Literature.
