Summary: The study intends to find out the reasons why patients are admitted at the X hospital by looking into the medical records of all patients admitted therein for a period of one year. It also aims to determine the actual health problems of the patients, through a tabulation of the final medical diagnosis of these patients. The client with actual or potential health problems that cannot be managed at home or in other health care facilities may be admitted to the hospital for diagnosis and/or treatment of the problem.
