Summary: This study determined the compliance on waste management programs among the residents in Langub, Kalunasan. Specifically, this study determined the profile of the residents in terms of age, gender, highest educational attainment, and monthly income. The compliance of the residents on waste management programs was identified. This study utilized descriptive-correlational research design. There were 247 respondents who were 18 years old and above. Convenient sampling was used. A researcher-made questionnaire was utilized using frequency and simple percentage, weighted mean, and the chi-square test of relationship. The findings revealed that a majority of the respondents belonged to the ages 18-24 years old, females, high school graduate, and has a monthly income ranging from 0-5,000 php. In general, the respondents are highly complaint with the waste management programs and there is a significant relationship between the monthly income and compliance on waste management programs. The action plan would provide solution to the problems being identified in Barangay Kalunasan with regards to its waste disposal compliance as well as to provide reinforcement on sanitation and evaluation on the interventions being done.
