Summary: The purpose of this study was to determine the incidence of child abuse from 1996-1999 in Cebu City as a basis for a proposed plan of action.<br/>Specifically, this study aims to answer the following questions:<br/>1.What is the proportion of child abuse in terms of :<br/>1.1 types <br/>1.2 causes<br/>2. What is the incidence of child abuse as classified in terms of :<br/>2.1 year<br/>2.2 institution<br/>3. Is there a significant difference in the proportion of reported cases within fiscal year?<br/>4. Based on the findings, what action plan can be proposed?<br/>The hypothesis that the researcher had formulated:<br/>Ho= There is no significant difference in the proportion of child abuse cases in the specified paired fiscal years. |
