Summary, etc Summary: The study determined the influence of level IV student nurses on the psychobiologic rehabilitation interventions to patients in the Center of Behavioral Sciences. The researchers utilized the descriptive quantitative research design for the study. With the use of purposive sampling, the researchers were able to come up with 15 clinical instructors as the respondents with the inclusion criteria that they were assigned in Vicente Soto Memorial Medical Center-Center for Behavioral Sciences for the School Year 2010-2011 first semester to supervise level IV student nurse.
Based on the findings of the study, majority of the respondents belonged to 25-36 years old, mostly females, and married. A moderate influence was found in terms of goals, strategies, settings, and roles in relation to psychiatric rehabilitation of mentally challenged clients. There was a fair change in the client's behavior.
The researchers have made up the following recommendations: First, reinforcement and enhancement of the student's knowledge, skills and attitude through a proposed information dissemination campaign. Second, further studies be made in line with improving student competencies and capabilities in handling mentally challenged clients.
