Abstract: With COVID-19 having altered and still in the process of altering the definition of stock across the world, most industries are still struggling to adjust. The effect on the restaurant industry has been theatrical. The study aimed to evaluate the fast-food employee's response to the new precautionary measures observed during a crisis. This study's respondents were the employees of two fast-food restaurants, Jollibee Food Corporation and McDonald's. The number of employees in Jollibee is thirty-five (35) employees and forty-four (44) employees for McDonald's. This study used a research-made online questionnaire as an instrument in gathering the data. Simple percentage, weighted mean, and chi-square were used for the data gathering analysis. The results of the study reveals that most of the respondents are females. Most of them were at the age of 22-24 years old. The employees of both The employees of both establishments' response to the new precautionary measures implemented in their workplace are moderately comfortable. There is no significant relationship connecting the respondents' age and gender to their response to the precautionary measures. The study concludes that the employees from both establishment response to the new precautionary measures implemented are moderately comfortable. |
