"Precalculus and Calculus can be challenging courses for any student; however, there are many things a student can do to prepare for the classes and it can benefit one's future. For most students, precalculus is not a required math course that they will have to take. Most of the students that enroll in precalculus are doing it to prepare themselves for college. They may also have the oppor- tunity to take a calculus course in their senior year of high school which can count towards college credit.
