"This book takes the readers through an overview of speech and language therapy and how they work in cases of children as well as adults, the role and technique of speech and language, assessment in speech and language, and language teaching. This book sheds light on linguistic theory and language teaching, various strategies for language teaching, and vocabulary development for the second language. The readers are then told about the various methods and characteristics of language learning strategies and their prevailing significances. The seventh chapter explains the role of academic English for a second language learner, reasons for the importance of English, the global spread of the English language. The last chapter of this book sheds light on the vocabulary development for second language learners, that is SLL, the task of vocabulary learning.
