Summary, etc The oversight of a business's inventory, which includes the manufacturing, ordering, storing, and selling of goods in the marketplace, is known as inventory management. Businesses may determine which goods to order, in what quantities, and when with the use of inventory management. It keeps track of inventories from the point of acquisition to the point of sale. This study determines the inventory management practices of micro-scale trading businesses in selected barangays of Mandaue City, Philippines. Proper inventory management practices help micro-business owners in cutting the costs by reducing inventory and minimizes lost sales from stock shortages. Despite having inventory management practices supporting daily operations, local or standard practices are often limited and may fall short in driving long-term growth or maximizing operational effectiveness.
