As dementia cases continue to rise worldwide, caregivers have taken on a critical role in providing consistent, compassionate care to elderly patients, particularly in long-term facilities. This study explores the lived experiences of caregivers at Life Care Residences in Cebu City, focusing on their emotional journey, the caregiving challenges they face, the support they receive, and the personal insights gained through their stewardship. The research aimed to deepen understanding of dementia caregiving and highlight the emotional labor and fulfillment embedded in this unique form of healthcare stewardship. |
