This study utilized descriptive-correlational research design to determined the challenges and opportunities faced by three hundred fourteen (314) retirees aged 60 and above in Barangay Apas, Cebu City. The study employed a researcher-made questionnaire, utilizing a 4-point Likert scale, to assess both challenges (internal: physical health, personal skills, positive attitudes; external: financial security, social support, community services) and satisfaction levels (opportunities) related to retirement. Dta collection involved a face-to-face intercept approach, with questionnaires reviewed for completeness. |
