"Motivation is a crucial factor in driving the performance of production workers. When employees are motivated, they exhibit increased energy, enthusiasm, and commitment to their work. However, some production workers exhibit decreased productivity, increased errors, and higher absenteeism rates. This study determined the extent to which motivational factors influenced production workers' performance at Gungob Industries, Inc. Specifically; this answered the following sub-problems raised: demographic profile of the respondents; to what extent do the following motivational factors influence the performance of the respondents in the areas of intrinsic motivation and extrinsic motivation; and significant relationship between the profile of the respondents and the responses on the extent to which motivational factors influenced production workers' performance.<br/><br/>The study utilized a descriptive-correlational research design to determine the extent to which motivational factors influenced production workers' performance and was conducted at Gungob Industries, Inc. This study used researcher-made survey questionnaires to gather data. To test the reliability of the tool, it was subjected to a dry-run procedure at the Diamond Food Trade with a Cronbach's Alpha value of 0.843115, indicating that the researcher-made instrument is suitable for final data gathering. A simple random sampling was used as a technique in identifying the 40 respondents of the study. The data was treated through frequency count and simple percentage to analyze the profile of the respondents in terms of: age, gender, educational attainment, and length of service; Weighted mean was used to analyze the data concerning the extent to which motivational factors influenced production workers' performance in the areas of intrinsic motivation and extrinsic motivation; Chi-square test of independence was used to identify the significant relationship between the profile of the respondents and the influence of motivation factors on production workers' performance found in the following factors. The study was conducted in accordance with the ethical principles of beneficence, non-maleficence, justice, and autonomy.<br/><br/>The findings show that more of the production workers were between the ages of 43 and 54 years old, elementary graduates, and the majority of them were females and had 1 to 8 years of service. Production workers at Gungob Industries, Inc. self-assessed that both intrinsic motivation and extrinsic motivation influenced their performance to a great extent. Therefore, there is a significant relationship between the profile of the respondents and their amount on the extent to which motivational factors influenced the production workers' performance. The findings of the gathered data were analyzed thoroughly to come up with proposed employee development plan." --Abstract |
