Summary, etc Summary: Heritage sites were treasures from the past that survive up to this day. This study aims to determine the perception of the tourists towards the popular heritage sites in Cebu City. This study utilized the descriptive-correlational research design with the use of researcher-made questionnaire as a primary tool of data gathering. There were 90 respondents from Magellan's Cross and Yap San-Diego Ancestral House. This research used simple percentage in determining the respondents profile, weighted mean in determining the perception of tourist towards the heritage sites, Chi-square and Pearson R was used to the test of relationship among variables. The results of the study revealed that during the time of the study, majority of the respondents were 17-24 years old, males, singles, and college level. According to the tourists, the Magellan's Cross and Yap San- Diego Ancestral House were dominant legacies of Spanish influence to the Cebuano's. The heritage sites shows an evident of Spanish colonization in Cebu, provides an explanation of Cebuano's traditional culture and religiosity. Tourists also perceived heritage sites as real evidence from the past that explains the culture, history and beliefs on a certain place. Therefore, to widely promote the heritage sites to the society, enrich the people's knowledge of Cebuano's history and culture and at the same time unveils people's eyes to appreciate the unusual beauty of heritage sites, the management should provide practical pr<br/>programs that catch the attention of public.
