Data were collected through face- to- face interviews. The findings will be the basis for the formulation of a proposed action plan. Results reveals that mothers had basic knowledge about dengue, they were aware of dengue symptoms, transmission and mosquito eradication strategy. Lack of financial capacity and some misconceptions about the disease influenced their preventive practices. Extensive knowledge of the prevention was evident based on the responses they provided, but there was no actual application of what they have learned.
