Specifically, this study determined the profile of the students in terms of age, gender, the performance of level IV students assigned in the operating room, significant relationship between the profile of the nursing students and their performance in the operating room based from the findings of the study, what intervention may be proposed. The null hypothesis was tested at level 0.05 of significant. The findings were used as a basis for proposed action plan: Reinforcement of seminar attended for all nursing students from 1st year to 4th year was identified which was the bases of formulation of the proposed action plan geared towards providing support to the students in their level of competencies of their performances in their operating room. This study utilized the descriptive correlational research design. There were about 132 respondents from level IV Octoberian students. The research environment was the University of Cebu- Banilad. The researchers utilized a modified standardized operating room performance checklist evaluation in determining the performance of the student nurses using the statistical formula such as Simple Percentage, Weighted Mean, and the Chi-Square test of relationship. The findings of the study revealed that the majority of the respondents were in the age of 20 years old, female. Based on the performance of selected level 4 nursing students is above average. Thus, there is no significant relationship between the profile of the respondents and the performance in operating room. The action plan scheme of implementation in providing support is to reinforce a seminar to be held at the AVR2 of University of Cebu- Banilad on April 7- 10, 2011 intended for all nursing students from 1st to 4th year.
