Kapusero Hoteru intends to provide accommodation services to the transient visitors in Cebu. The name was derived from the Japanese word "Kapuseru" which means capsule. It is inspired by the shape of a capsule - small bed-sized rooms, and "Hoteru" for a hotel. The hotel aims to provide sleeping pods comprising of comfy beds with individual lockers. The hotel also features a convenience store, a laundry shop, cafeteria, ATM machine, and airport shuttle service.
