This study aimed to evaluate the observation of mothers regarding the implementation of Integrated Management of Childhood Illnesses (IMCI) practices in their barangay. The findings of this study served as bases for a proposed action plan. It utilized a descriptive -correlation type of research design to identify the relationship between the observation of mothers of the application of IMCI practices in their barangay. The data was obtained using a researcher-made questionnaire which consists of 20 items. The statistical tools used in this study were simple percentage, weighted mean, and chi-square test of independence. A total of 146 mothers were selected as our respondents using random sampling. Mothers must have a child under five years of age and experienced availing services in their barangay health center. Subsequently, most mothers belong to age bracket of 20-30 and 31-40 years old, are college graduates, employed, and have two or more children. The results reveled that mothers of barangay Hipodromo had always observed that IMCI practices were executed in their barangay health center. there was no significant relationship between mothers' age, educational attainment, and employment status, and their observation on the implementation of IMCI practices. However, results showed a significant relationship between parity and mothers' observation on the implementation of IMCI practice. Therefore, it concluded that mothers in the barangay showed positive regard for their observation concerning the implementation of IMCI practices. Thus, the proposed action plan must be implemented.
