Since they deal with perishable items like medicines in their day-to-day operations, they must manage their inventories carefully. Thus, this study aimed to examine the inventory management practices of selected community pharmacies in Mandaue City, Philippines. The study applied the descriptive survey method using a researcher-made questionnaire. The respondents were the 68-community pharmacies on duty. Simple Percentage, weighted mean, and One-way ANOVA were used in analyzing and interpreting the data. The community pharmacies highly practiced sound inventory management. Moreover, the responses showed no significant difference in the inventory management of the community pharmacies. The study revealed that these community pharmacies had incorporated appropriate inventory management practices since they have understood the importance of inventory management and as well as, have the knowledge and resources to perform it correctly. Furthermore, the proponents recommended that the proposed intervention plan for community pharmacies may be adopted and implemented. It is also strongly advised to conduct an inventory management practices study from a larger perspective to truly accommodate and gain more precise information on community pharmacies' different inventory management practices.Item type | Current location | Call number | Status | Date due | Barcode |
