Summary: Summary: C++ is an object-oriented programming language. It is an extension to C programming. C++ is a general purpose, case-sensitive, free-form programming language that supports object-oriented, procedural and generic programming. It has imperative, object-oriented, procedural and generic programming features. C++ runs on lots of platform like Windows, Linux, Unix, Mac, etc. It is also popular in communications and gaming. It is used in many other industries: health care, finances, and even defense. Any program that was developed in the original C language can easily be moved into C++ without any major modifications. Because C++ offers flexibility, programmers are able to create powerful constructs and introduce new conceptual objects and abstract applications. As a result, C++ allows programmers to directly control and manipulate hardware resources to produce high fuctioning programs.
