Tour guides are essential in the tourism sector, balancing the interests of tourists with cultural preservation and community welfare. They enhance the travel experience and contribute significantly to the success of tourism. This study aims to explore the experiences of tour guides in Cebu trip tours.
This study utilized a descriptive phenomenological research design utilizing in-depth structured interviews to gather relevant data from then (10) tour guides were the informants of this study. This study employed a validated researcher-made interview guide with adherence to the ethical principles of research throughout the study. The data were analyzed using Colaizzi's descriptive phenomenological data analysis.
