Effective waste management is a critical component of sustainability in the food service industry, especially for micro-scale food service establishments. These entities, soften operating with limited resources and space, face significant challenges in implementing efficient waste management practices. This study assessed waste management practices among micro-scale food service entities in Cebu City in selected barangays - Apas, Kamputhaw, Lahug, Luz, and Mabolo. The results of this study served as the basis for developing a simplified waste management guideline tailored for micro-scale food service entities.
