, The textbook provides hands-on activities for the students to discover, investigate, analyze, and interpret data. These are designed to enhance the students' critical thinking skills and give them a chance to explore more ideas pertaining to the subject.

The chapters in the textbook are divided into lessons, which may be covered within one or more class sessions depending on the complexity of the topic. Each lesson has the following components:

Concept Map guides the students on the topics and subtopics of the lesson. This can also be used in assessing how well they understand the concepts.

Objectives presents the learning goals for each lesson.

Key Words presents the important terms in the lesson. These terms may be useful tools for students reviewing for examinations.

Essential Question features thought-provoking questions that may spark curiosity, arouse inquiry, and encourage more questions from students.

Connection relates the lesson to other disciplines and tells how it is applied to real-life situations. It also provides information on recent breakthroughs in various fields which can be a model for students in choosing the subject for their research investigation.

Exercise assesses students' understanding of the concepts in each lesson.

Each chapter ends with a key concept, self-assessment, and learning outcomes as measures to check the knowledge and skills gained by the students.
