Business Finance for Senior High School covers the different facets of business finance. It was written in accordance to the K-12 Basic Curriculum for Senior High School. It covers the following topics:
introduction to financial management
review of financial statement preparation, analysis, and interpretation
financial planning: tools and concepts
working capital management
sources and uses of short-term funds
sources and uses of long-term funds
risks and rates of return
time value of money
investment management
managing personal finance
This textbook is divided into ten chapters. Lesson objectives are identified at the beginning of each chapter to set the learning expectations from the students. In the lesson proper, concepts are defined, discussed, and illustrated through examples for better understanding. Also, there are short activities throughout the chapter.
At the end of the chapter, key concepts are enumerated and exercises are given. The exercises take the following forms:

Some of these exercises are adapted from books of well-known authors here and abroad. They are acknowledged in the references list at the end of this book.
