In this undertaking, the researcher aims to determine the students perceptions towards the various assessment methods that could affect their learning experiences. This study utilized descriptive-correlational design to determine the student's perception of assessment methods and their impact on learning experiences. A total of 175 Bachelor of Elementary Education first-year, second-year, and third-year in College of Teacher Education. The researcher used a researcher made-survey questionnaire as the main instrument. It went through content validation to ensure its validity. The result showed that the most dominant participants were in the age range of 19-20 years old, primarily females. They preferred diagnostic, formative, and authentic assessments to test their experiences as they learn. The finding showed a significant relationship between the respondents' year levels and students' preferred assessment. The study's finding is that students preferred learning assessments that are challenging and enhance their skills. Thus, the researcher concluded that assessment relating to real-life situations makes the learning experience more meaningful and practical. Additionally, the knowledge and skills can be used outside of school, which motivates them to learn." —Abstract
