"This course module is designed for students who are currently taking up research subjects, may it be quantitative or qualitative.
Like any other research books, this course module tackles the rudiments of research and how to go about it. Unlike other research books, however, this course module incorporates both quantitative and qualitative methods, and this also discusses on what to do during oral presentation.
Furthermore, this course module has activities that help students to apply what they have learned from every module and cater to the diverse needs of learners. Underpinned by multiple intelligences theory of Howard Gardner, the activities are designed to stimulate the students dominant as well as nondominant intelligence, such as linguistic and spatial intelligences.
Every module has different parts, to wit:
1. Introduction. This section introduces the students about the topics and subtopics of the module.
2. Outcomes. This tells the students on what to expect from them after reading the entire module.
3. Discussion. This part gives information about the topics and subtopics to be learned by the students.
4. Activity. This segment lets the students show what they have learned from the lessons of the module.
5. Feedback. This section informs the students if they have done well in the activities.
6. Summary. This part puts all the lessons in a capsule; that is, it summarizes the lessons discussed in the module.
7. Suggested Readings. This gives a list of readings that are relevant to the lessons.
8. References. This part lists the books, articles, and other reading materials used in the module.
