Summary: This study aimed to determine the effects of media violence towards children, as perceived by parents at Mabolo Christian Academy, Mabolo Cebu City for first semester 2006-2007. The study sought to answer the following; 1.1 age 1.2 educational background 1.3 religion 1.4 civil status 2. What kind of media are respondents' children exposed to? 3. What are the observable violent signs/ behaviors manifested by the children which are caused by the different kind of medium? 4. Based on the findings of the study what recommendations may be proposed?
