Summary: Summary: This study determined the level of satisfaction on the services provided by the health insurance providers among University of Cebu-Banilad 39 teaching staff. The research design is quantitative, descriptive-correlational. This study utilized a thirty item four point Likert scale researcher-made questionnaire composed of two parts. The first part pertains to the respondent of the profile in terms of the health insurance provider and health insurance existence of Out-patient services. The second part of the questionnaire consisted of thirty- items to measure the level of satisfaction of the respondents. The findings revealed that most of the respondents chose Insular as their health insurance provider and availed Out-Patient services. Less satisfaction was seen on in their monthly premium and contribution cost in particular, married employee with dependent spouse; single employee with qualified brothers and sisters as dependent and single employee with qualified parents as dependent since they view it as expensive to avail. Significant relationship were found between the health insurance provider and the level of satisfaction on the services provided by the preferred health insurance company of the respondents in terms of their monthly contribution; health insurance provider revealed significant relationship with the level of satisfaction on the services provided by the preferred health insurance company of the respondents in terms of laboratory and admission services. The researchers concluded that the respondents were moderately satisfied on the monthly premium or contribution cost; and highly satisfied in the annual physical examination coverage or benefits; out-patient benefits; laboratory services benefits; admission benefits and coverage and discharge benefits and coverage. Recommendations include information dissemination on tips to select health insurance provider and further studies be conducted in line with the health needs of teachers and factors to consider when selecting health insurances.
