Specifically, this study determined the profile of the participants regarding age, gender, and their midterm grades, the significant relationship of the time interval between lecture discussion and administration of exam and the test. This study utilized quasi-experimental research design. A total of 3 sets of exams were administered each set having three different time intervals; right after, a day after and three days after equally distributed in 3 groups. The majority of the participants were female with a percentage of 76%. Most of the participants belong to the age bracket of 18-20 with a frequency of 56 and a calculation of 76%. The majority of the participants had a midterm grade range of 2.5-3.0 with a frequency of 47 and a percentage of 64%. There was no impact and significant relationship between the time interval of lecture-discussion and administration of the exam to the test results. Based on the findings of our study, the researchers concluded that the test results of the BSN 3 students are not dependent on the time interval between lecture discussion and administration of the exam. Based on the study and analysis of data gathered, the following recommendations are made for the students to improve their test performance. (1) Form a core group to facilitate small group discussions. (2) Create a buddy-system and a schedule of study hours.(3) Keep track on one self's performance and improve the test results. Furthermore, it is suggested for future researchers to have a bigger sample and to conduct a qualitative research regarding student's motivational aspects in improving their test results.
